The Town of Arnprior wants to help organizations that provide important programs and activities to people in our community. The Town's Municipal Grants Policy outlines the process for eligible organizations to follow. Both support in the form of funding and in-kind services is available to eligible organizations.
The Town of Arnprior offers four (4) types of Municipal Grants, which are available to eligible organizations. Learn more about the types of support available.
A Municipal Grant provided by Council to an eligible organization in a dollar ($) amount.
Organizations may be provided an annual maximum of $3,000 under this grant stream.
A maximum of one (1) request for support funding can be made each year, per organization.
Support funding cannot be used to:
A Municipal Grant that is provided by Council, to an eligible organization, by way of an on-going in-kind contribution over the course of one (1) year (or another specified timeframe). This in-kind support is used to support a program, activity, event, or service.
Organizations may require a specific lease and/or partnership agreement.
A maximum of one (1) request for in-kind support (partnership) can be made each year, per organization.
Eligible requests include waiving fees for:
A Municipal Grant that is provided by Council, to an eligible organization, by way of a single in-kind contribution. This in-kind support is used to support a program, activity, event, or service.
A maximum of two (2) requests for in-kind support (single) can be made each year, per organization.

Festivals and Events Support Funding
A Municipal Grant that is provided by Council, to an eligible event organization, by way of a single one-time support funding and/or in-kind contribution. This support funding is used to help a festival or event, which is hosted in the Town of Arnprior.
A maximum of one (1) request for festival and event support funding can be made each year, per organization.
Festival and event support funding cannot be used to:
To apply for a Municipal Grant, you need to fill out the application form. Community organizations must submit their application for a Municipal Grant a minimum of 60 days prior to their need (i.e. project deadline, event, etc.)
If you receive funding from the Town of Arnprior you need to submit a Municipal Grant Report, before being eligible to receive any future support.
