Learn more about this project...

The idea of the Older Adults Club came to light with the mindset of complimenting and supporting the Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC). Focusing on programs and activities that exceed the capacity of the SALC, the Older Adults Club aims to provide seniors in our community increased access to recreation. The membership based format was duplicated from the successful Youth Club project started back in 2023 with support of grant funding.

These programs will mainly occur at the Nick Smith Centre (77 James Street). Select programs will occur in various park spaces, schools, and other recreational facilities in Arnprior.

This is a current project that is ongoing year-round.

Anyone aged 55 and over qualifies for the Older Adults Club. You do not have to be an Arnprior resident - anyone over 55 can join.
