March Break Camp at the Nick Smith Centre is always exciting!

Dates: March 16-20, 2026
Ages: 4-12
Location: Nick Smith Centre
Time: 8:30am-3:30pm (extended hours available 7:45am-4:30pm)
Fees: Resident: $225, Non-Resident: $337.50, Extended Hours: $75/week

Each day has an exciting theme and activity.

Monday

Sports Day

Campers are Olympians today! A mix of summer and winter sports - this day is all about sports and physical activity. Your kid is not as interested in sports? There are alternative activities they can participate in - or they can participate to the degree they choose.

Each day also features an hour of swimming and skating. Alternative programming is an option for those that do not want to participate.

Tuesday

Bouncing Day

Games, obstacle courses, and more inflatable fun. The Community Hall is turned in to an amusement park with lots of fun and exciting activities.

Each day also features an hour of swimming and skating. Alternative programming is an option for those that do not want to participate.

Wednesday

STEM Day

Each child will receive their own Wonder Box STEM box and be able to assemble their own creative Activity Box.

Each day also features an hour of swimming and skating. Alternative programming is an option for those that do not want to participate.

Thursday

Escape Room

Will they escape? Camp staff will turn the whole camp in to an Escape Room. Campers need to work together to figure out the clues to crack the code. There just might be some prizes at the end.

Friday

Magic Day

Camp will have a visit from a magician with both a show and a tutorial for them to show off their own tricks.

Each day also features an hour of swimming and skating. Alternative programming is an option for those that do not want to participate.

More about the March Break Camp

  • Campers are to bring the following each day
    • Peanut free lunch and snacks
    • Indoor and outdoor clothing and footwear
    • Swimsuit and towel
    • Skates and helmets (this is available for those without)
  • Drop-off and pick-up daily at the Nick Smith Centre at 8:30am and 3:30pm. Extended hours can be purchased for $75 for the week which has a drop-off as early as 7:45am and as late as 4:30pm
  • Full week registration is required. There is no single day booking available. Should you miss a day to illness or other scheduling priorities, there will be no refunds.

Refund Policy

  • Request up to 7 days prior (March 9) = 100% refund
  • Request between 7 days prior and start of Day 1 = 100% refund less a $50 admin fee
  • Request after program start = Prorated refund less a $50 admin fee

The Town of Arnprior is pleased to offer the Lending Hub equipment program to residents of Arnprior aged 18 and over. The Lending Hub features a variety of seasonal sports equipment to help you get outside, stay active, and enjoy recreational activities year-round.

Rental Details

  • Equipment is available free of charge for daily use

  • All items must be returned by:

    • 8:30 pm Monday to Friday

    • 7:30 pm Saturday and Sunday

  • Cross-country ski sets (skis, boots, and poles)

  • Hockey skates and helmets (various sizes)
