Business Licences

This licence applies to clothing donation bins, which include any receptacle used, or intended to be used, in whole or in part, for the collection of clothing donated by the public.

Licence Fee: No Charge

This licence applies to all temporary, seasonal, or annual Old Gold and/or Other Precious Metal Dealers, meaning in the business of dealing in Old Gold and/or Other Precious Metals or other similar articles, including but not limited to, buying, selling, or trading such items.

Licence Fee: $200 (annual) or $100 (one week)

This licence applies to every person who carries on the business of a pawnbroker, namely carries on the business of taking by way of pawn or pledge any article for the repayment of money lent thereon.

Licence Fee: $250 (annual)

This licence applies to every Hawker/Peddler, which includes any person who goes from place to place on foot or in a vehicle for the purpose of:

• Selling goods and/or services
• Entering into contracts for the sale of goods and/or services which are either to be delivered on site or at a later date
• Promoting the sale of goods and/or services by encouraging individuals to come to a person's regular place of business

Licence Fee: $500 (annual)

This licence applies to Mobile Canteens, Refreshment Stands, Refreshment Vehicles, and Ice Cream Stands/Bicycles.

Licence Fee: $750 (annual) or $62.50 per month

Licence Fees:

• Full Season (Farmer*): $100.00 (13 market minimum)
• Half Season (Farmer*): $50.00 (9 markets)
• Full Season (Non-Farmer): $150.00 (13 market minimum)
• Half Season (Non Farmer): $100.00 (9 markets)
• Daily Vender: $15.00 per market
• Community Booth: No Charge
• Youth Booth: No Charge

• Generator Use: $12.50 per day/ per plug

This licence applies to any person who organizes a Special Event involving multiple Special Event Vendors at one location selling goods, wares, and/or merchandise or offering for sale services, on a temporary basis to the public on municipal property, within the Town of Arnprior.

Licence Fee: $25 per day or part thereof, up to a maximum of $150

This licence applies to all Outdoor Sidewalk Patio Café's in the Town of Arnprior.
