- Disclose the interest and its general nature before the matter is considered by completing and submitting the Declaration of Pecuniary Interest Form to the Clerk the same day, or as soon as possible afterwards, the matter is before Council;
- Not take part in the discussion or voting on any question in respect to the matter;
- Not attempt to influence the voting before, during, or after the meeting; and
- Immediately leave the meeting, if the meeting is closed to the public.
Registry of Pecuniary Interest
Members of Council and local boards are required to submit a written statement at a meeting, or as soon as possible afterwards, whenever they declare a pecuniary interest on an agenda item at a Council or local board meeting. Declarations of Interest are made under the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.

Review all conflict of interest disclosures from the Town of Arnprior's Mayor and Councillors. The written statements of pecuniary interest are available for viewing upon request in the Clerk's Office.
